Kim Ledgerwood . . .
Copywriter
Kim Ledgerwood’s love of words and talent for using
them goes back as far as she can remember and has earned
her the nickname “the word nerd.” Fresh out of college
and searching for a career path, she wanted to put her
creativity to good use, but didn’t want to be a starving
artist. The obvious solution? Advertising! Today, she
holds a Master’s Degree in Advertising from the
University of Tennessee and has more than 12 years’ of
experience as a professional copywriter, including five
years at one of the southeast’s largest full-service ad
agencies, The Tombras Group, followed by many years of
freelancing. Yes, she’s won countless awards, but—more
importantly—her critical- and creative-thinking skills
combine to produce copy that gets results.
Kim also has three children, so she doesn’t have any
spare time. If she did, she’d love to curl up with a
good book, work a hard crossword puzzle or maybe even
sneak in a pedicure.
